Location

The Baharini Shopping Center is located in the heart of Diani directly on Diani Beach Road. Its also locally known as Chandarana.

Environment 

The complex itself is about two acres of land that has a huge parking spot on its property with additional security. It’s well maintained and clean at all times. The shopping center has no public toilets but WCs are located in various restaurants within the Complex. Maybe not important – but the digital footprint is a bit poor.

Chandarana Food Plus Supermarkets

The Chandarana Supermarket is a Kenyan supermarket chain. The Supermarkt is structured well and is always tidy and kept neatly. Their Products range from frozen goods, Vegetables, species, beverages including alcoholic drinks, Milk products both imported and local, as well as a massive meat and cheese counter for both cooked and raw portions of meat. They also sell electronic devices such as TV, Fridges, Stereo systems, etc. One thing that always stands out at Chandrana is the lack of management and organization. Almost every time we shop there we see only 2 tilts open and about 20 customers waiting to check out yet they have 6 good tilts that could be put into good use. Overall Chandarana is vital for many simply due to the fact its located well and has the products we need on day to day basis.

Ladonna

Ladonna boutique is the oldest Boutique in Diani beach dating back to the early 2000s. The perfect place to equip yourself with the correct beach wear for your holiday or to buy souvenirs to take back home. Items include Beach wear for both men & women, Sunglasses, necklaces, Kikoyes, hats, Shirts many more items. The prices are cheap and affordable.

Mama Lucy – Fruit and Vegetables

Raels Boutique

Raels Boutique has two locations across Diani Beach. One at the center point shopping center and one at Bharahni Shopping center. Raels Boutique has made its name over the years by supplying items that you have forgotten before heading to our beautiful beach. Sunglasses, Towels, snorkels or fins, Hats, sunscreen, floating devices, beach wear, and various other goods. Raels is a bit expensive at first but their team is always ready to negotiate a better price

ZanZara

ZanZara is an exclusive boutique that sells high-end products that range from jewelry that mainly comes from Nairobi made by Maro Design to high-end tailor-made dresses and bags. ZanZara is expensive but worth the price. A-Pro-Tip – ideal if you’re looking to buy a gift for a special occasion.

Apero Bar & Restaurant

The Baharini Shopping Center ( also called Chandara ) is our favorite shopping and relaxing point. Not only the quality shops, that you can not find elsewhere. Moreover, it is the best mix of shopping and relaxed vibes. You always find a parking place, it´s located centrally and is safe and clean.
