The Scuba Duka Diving Center is located in the south part of Diani Beach – inside Beach Resort called Soulbreeze. The hotel permits anyone to enter whether it’s through the beach or the main gate. You will find the dive center located on the beach side.

Environment

The Scuba Duka Diving Center is run by Mr. Ali Khan who is amongst the most certified divers in the country. The dive center is directly located at the beachfront with a direct view of the mission at hand which is the vast deep blue ocean to give you that extra morale boost. Their office is well maintained and straight to the point with a board room for briefings or training and with a veranda outside to either chill out before or after a dive session. Scuba Duka boats are always in exceptional condition as well as his diving gear is top of the range.

Scuba Duka Diving isn’t the largest dive center or the most certificated dive center across Diani. However, what stands out compared to others is the personal touch that Scuba Duka implements making you feel special and not just another digit.

This course is designed for people who want to give diving a try but don’t want to commit to an entire course just yet, meaning that you will practice in a pool first to get the basics down as to how the equipment works after that it’s off to the ocean to blow bubbles. PADI Discover Scuba Diving Course is a beginner course without certification.

PADI Open Water Diver Course

Mwanamoji Dive Point

A slanted reef that reaches depths of 20 meters is perfect for a drift dive, letting the current sling you past  plenty of turtles, moray eels, ribbon eels, sting rays, lobsters, squids, and octopus

Kisima Mungu

A slanted reef that stretches across 1.5km is ideal for photography, Common sightings include White tip reef sharks, sting rays, and other animals that are usually hard to spot due to the abundance of flourishing coral reefs.

Igloo

A unique spot with a massive Coral sitting in the middle of an underwater desert that resembles an Igloo.

Mwanyaza

Probably the most chilled site in Diani Beach with depths of about 10 to 15 meters with a wide range of marine life.

Alpha Funguo Wreck

A wreck that sunk in 2002 has now been fully swallowed by the artificial coral reef that sits at a depth of 17 meters. Home to large fish and the most common fish the Underwater Photographer. A must-go-to for taking amazing pictures.

Tiwi Beach

Located at the edge of the Congo River has become a shelter for marine life of all sorts, Triggerfish, sweetlips, nudibranch, barracuda, and moray eel. depts start from 3 meters to 20 meters.

Kinondo

Mainly known for its large fish population, in reality, it has the most fish in all the dive spots mentioned above. From Tuna to Barracudas to pelagic fish the selection is massive and is a highlight at 15 meters dive depth.
