Location

Center Point Shopping Center is located at the junction that connects Ukunda Beach Road and Diani Beach Road. Tall large 2-story building right at the junction, also known as Carrefour or for the older generation Nakumatt.

Environment 

Center Point Shopping Center is a well-maintained complex that has both parking outside and inside. It is self-maintained by the owners meaning its tidy and organized in its natural state. It has security guards all around the clock. The toilet situation is not really super but at an acceptable level.

Carrefour Supermarket

Carrefour Supermarket, a multination retail corporation, has various products that fulfill the demand for domestic and international products. Their selection varies from fresh-baked bread, cuts of meat, a small canteen, a huge variety of imported cheese, frozen products, and other exotic products that are imported that can only be found at carrefour. The supermarket is very clean and well organized. On the downside, it is by far the most expensive Supermarket across the whole coastal region with simple items always being more expensive than usual.

Java House

Java House is a restaurant chain that is spread across 3 countries Kenya, Ukunda, and Rwanda. It is primarily a coffee shop however it does have a kitchen that serves anything from Sandwiches, Wraps, Burgers, and Chicken or fish meals. perfect place for a meeting or waiting zone. International standards.

Goodlife Pharmacy

Small Pharmacy is located in the middle of the complex. Its selection of medication does seem a little less so in case you need something in particular we would recommend Care and Cure Pharmacy at Bharahni Shopping center although Goodlife pharmacy could solve minor issues.

Raels Boutique 

Raels Boutique has two locations across Diani Beach. 1 at the center point and 1 at Bharahni Shopping center. Raels Boutique has made its name over the years by supplying items that you have forgotten before heading to our beautiful beach. Sunglasses, Towels, snorkels or fins, Hats, sunscreen, floating devices, beach wear, and various other goods. Raels is a bit expensive at first but their team is always ready to negotiate a better price.

Safaricom Shop

Safaricom is the largest telecommunications provider in East Africa. Their main local branch is located on the top floor of the center point. Shop Design and Services they offer are on the well know national standard.

Diamond Trust Bank

The branch of Diamond Trust Bank is well known in entire Diani Beach. Mainly because of services that are beyond the normal banking offering. They have cash machines that really accept all credit cards, which is an absolute PLUS. Furthermore, their international cash transfer possibilities are unbeaten.

Conclusion

The Center Point Shopping Center has a good central location and is the host of the most exclusive supermarket in town. Java House and Safaricom Shop are completing the small but good shop offering.
