Kokos Bistro café is located in the heart of Diani, which is at the Baharini Shopping Center on the opposite a little by fine Corner bistro with its distinctive wooden logo above its door frame can’t be missed.

Environment

Kokos Bistro Café was established in the early 2000s and has since grown to be a heartful and cozy hot spot for both Diani locals and tourists from all walks of life.

Its exclusive wooden yet vintage interior design with a touch of 21st-century upgrades makes this place a memorable and exciting experience while having the constant aroma of fresh coffee or cappuccinos being brewed whilst listening to music that has variety. Kokos isn’t the biggest location making actually ideal for 2 to 4 people seating possibilities, Either inside or outside on their terrace. I’m sure reservations can be made if need be however, we are pretty sure Kokos is set out to be a small petite enterprise mainly focusing on Individual working space with free WiFI or Meal with simply your friends or spouse.

Food & Drinks

Kokos Bistro Café has a bespoke selection & variety of foods that is to be expected from a Bistro Café, not the largest menu card that you will come across but options for all foodies out there.

The breakfast menu consists of 10 items that include anything from fruit salad to eggs benedict or even the typical English breakfast (eggs, bacon, Beans, toast) or a finely made eggs benedict topped with a mushroom & spinach sider if you’re feeling fancy.

Lunch & Dinner Menu is where it gets interesting where one has the option between Sandwiches that differ from vegetarian leading all the way to smoked Salmon or tuna variations.

 Their burgers are a force to be reckoned with, it isn’t any joke when we tell you these bad boys are stacked up. Personally, nothing beats eating their Gringo Spicey flamed Burger topped with jalapenos on a brutal hangover morning, which is an important factor to put into consideration that Kokos Kitchen servers almost everything on their menu card from the moment they pretty much open, so if your looking for a full-on meal early hour this could defiantly be you.

Besides the sandwiches & Burgers, the bistro also focuses on International dishes that are prepared from fresh ingredients such as Pastas, Steaks or even Indian Curries that come in all spice levels. Last but not least is Koko’s Amazing dessert selection, which notably made the place famous in the first place, having freshly baked cakes that vary from strawberry cheesecake to Black forest cakes, not to forget to mention Croissants & Cupcakes that are to die for.

Kokos Provides a fair amount of Beverage options from cold beers to Cocktails as such as Pina colada or their traditional Dawa Long drink, Cold freshly pressed juices and Sodas are available. As mentioned above Kokkos serves freshly brewed Coffees and cappuccinos.

Opinion

Overall Kokko’s Cafe Bistro food standards are very high and well-presented and served relatively quickly depending on the volume of customers. It’s safe to say that Kokkos is a bit pricey from any meal starting at around 650 Kenyan Shillings which would be breakfast to burgers that start from 850 Kenyan Shillings. The quality of food and service kind of makes up for its prices.

 The Bathrooms could also need innovation with their only being 1 toilet cubical for Men and 1 for Women making it hard at times timing your strategy as to when to use the restroom however they are clean and well looked out for.
